Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking an experienced cardiologist with electrophysiology expertise to join a busy practice in Illinois. The role involves collaboration with general, interventional, and structural cardiology teams, and requires use of EP mapping systems and Cryoablation techniques.

You will work in a hybrid EP laboratory environment with EPIC EMR support, contributing to a strong research program and patient-focused care. Board certification or eligibility in CV disease is required.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA prior to start.
• BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Licensed physician in the state of practice.
• Competence delivering healthcare to adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Position Details

• Outreach clinic responsibilities
• 3 State-of-the art EP labs, including 2 biplane EP labs.
• CARTO, EnSite, and Rhythmia mapping systems as well as Cryoablation.
• Farapulse PFA.
• CRM: Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Abbott.
• Hybrid lab available for EP procedures
• Very active clinical EP research program: Platinum research site and Center of Training for Boston Scientific.
• EPIC EMR
• 5 EP providers, 16 Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist.

Pay Range: $745,000.00 - $942,854.00

Education Qualifications

• Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience Qualifications

• Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
• Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
• Must be board certified or board eligible.
