Physician | Eastern Region Float | Days | $11K Bonus

The Physician will assess and treat patients’ physical health through examinations and coordinate external referrals. The role includes oversight of clinical activities performed by ARNPs, documentation review, after‑hours on‑call duties, and minor medical procedures. Collaborative care with psychiatric and interdisciplinary staff is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical health through examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Provide and oversee documentation, outside referrals, consultations, and follow‑ups
• Offer clinical oversight and support to ARNPs, including care provision and documentation review
• Perform minor medical procedures such as sutures, IV placement, and lumbar puncture
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and provide education to patients and families

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Medical doctorate (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO) from an accredited university

Experience

• Two (2) years post‑residency clinical experience in an outpatient/inpatient setting
• Psychiatric experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed in the state of employment
• Current DEA and applicable certifications
• Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine
