Veterans Health Administration’s Fredericksburg Health Care Center seeks a Dermatologist to deliver comprehensive patient care in invasive, consultative, and outpatient settings. The physician reports to the Lead Physician in Dermatology and supports the Central Virginia VA Health Care System mission.
The role requires MD/DO, active US license, relevant residency, and strong English communication; a faculty appointment may require board certification.
The Dermatologist is expected to provide comprehensive patient care in the form of invasive - consultative - and outpatient Dermatology patient care at the Fredericksburg Health Care Center. The incumbent is accountable to the Lead Physician - Dermatology section assuring the most effective delivery of care in services within Medical Section - Fredericksburg Health Care Center (HCC).
To qualify for this position - you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Currently employed physician(s) in VA who met the requirements for appointment under the previous qualification standard at the time of their initial appointment are deemed to have met the basic requirements of the occupation.
