Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician to join the Greenville Family Medicine Residency Program in Greenville, SC. You will teach and supervise residents and medical students while maintaining a broad clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Ideal candidates will be dedicated educators and leaders with a commitment to quality improvement and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP).
• Eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina (or current license).
• Experience or interest in clinic leadership and resident supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work in a primary care teaching clinic, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Supervise and mentor family medicine residents and medical students in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinic staff to develop and implement policies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.

The Greenville Family Medicine Residency, founded in 1971, is a 6-6-6 complement program and has a long tradition of academic excellence. Responsibilities

• Work in a primary care teaching clinic, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Supervise and mentor family medicine residents and medical students in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinic staff to develop and implement policies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain an active clinical practice with a broad scope of family medicine (outpatient and inpatient medicine; interest in obstetrics are also encouraged to apply).
• Opportunities to participate in didactic teaching, curriculum development, and scholarly activity.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning within the residency program and clinic.

• Fellowship training in an area relevant to family medicine is welcome bur not required.
