Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Virginia's coastal region is seeking a physician to join our outpatient pediatric practice. You will provide high-quality care in a busy clinic, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions in children while building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics; if board-eligible, certification within 2 years.
• Must possess a valid Virginia medical license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.
• Excellent rapport with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate pediatric care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in children.
• Build strong connections with patients and families, fostering a supportive environment.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including subspecialists, nursing staff, and on-call triage.
• Ensure patient care is aligned with best practices and medical guidelines.
• Engage in continuing medical education and professional development.
