Job summary

CHKD Health System in Coastal Virginia and northeast North Carolina invites a CMG Pediatrician to join outpatient clinics, delivering high-quality pediatric care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and building strong connections with patients and families.

A strong communication style and a Virginia medical license are required, with board eligibility/certification in pediatrics. Flexible schedules, limited weekend call, and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in pediatrics (if board eligible, certification must be obtained within 2 years of residency completion).
• Must possess a valid Virginia medical license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.
• Ability to build excellent rapport with children and families.
