Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Physician Compensation and Contracting Manager to lead compensation, contracting activities, and engagement across the physician lifecycle. This role partners with physicians, leaders, and executives to drive fair, compliant compensation plans and robust contracting processes.

The ideal candidate has expertise in physician compensation design, contract negotiations, and experience with Fair Market Valuations, ensuring equity and compliance across our network.

Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge of physician compensation design and contracting within healthcare.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience preparing or using Fair Market Valuations and supporting contracting within a healthcare org.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with all parties in the contracting process including senior leadership, recruitment, onboarding, operations, and marketing.
• Maintain detailed records of physician contracts and compensation arrangements.
• Review and manage stages of requests in the Physician Contracting Database (IronClad).
• Develop/align physician compensation plans ensuring equity across physicians in the system.
• Conduct Fair Market Valuation on compensation models and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Prepare materials for APCC reviews and assist with term sheets and employment contracts.
• Collaborate with Legal and Physician Recruitment to finalize agreements.
