You will partner with recruitment, leadership, legal, and HR to govern and analyze compensation, maintain related HRIS data, and generate quarterly reports for the compensation committee.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Partner with legal, provider recruitment, and leaders to review and appropriately interpret physician agreements.
  • Partner with leaders (AAs, directors, managers) to review each agreement and ensure everyone understands the terms of the agreement.
  • Ensure physicians are appropriately set up in the HR Information System as well as time keeping and payroll systems.
  • Educate manager and physician on terms of agreement and appropriate documentation required to ensure accurate pay and execution of agreement.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure changes to a physician’s employment status or employment agreement is updated appropriately in all HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Ensure appropriate individuals are educated on the proper documentation needed to support all additional pay such as but not limited to: call shifts required, bonuses related to call shifts, bonuses related to patient encounters.
  • Ensure all additional pay is coded correctly based on the type of pay and information provided by the leaders.
  • Work with leaders and payroll on missed pay situations and resolve as quickly as possible based on payroll processing guidelines.
  • Work with leaders and payroll on overpayment situations. Communicating the overpayment amounts, repayment options, and tracking of repayments.
  • Set up and maintain tracking system to monitor agreement specific requirements such as patient encounters in a specific time period.
  • Set up and maintain tracking system to monitor Medical Director pay and renewals or amendments to these agreements.
  • Set up and maintain tracking system to monitor annual earnings for agreement period.
  • Prepare quarterly earning reports for the compensation committee to review when physician compensation is close to the annual max as outlined in the agreement based on the contract year.
  • Maintain the Dynafios system as an administrator with the ability to add, change, delete, and approve physician pay.

Job Summary

The physician compensation analyst is responsible for the administration, analysis, and governance of physician agreements and pay associated with those agreements. The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

Education

Experience: 3 years related professional capacity.

Requires the ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations and statistical analysis.

Substitution: May substitute Master’s Degree and 2 years related experience for bachelor and 3 years experience or May substitute bachelor’s with 2 years experience plus applicable professional certification.
