Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to join its Surgery Department as a hospitalist. The role includes full-time hospital coverage, with 182 shifts per year, and active participation in the care of urgent and emergent cases.

You will join a group of colorectal and general surgeons, operate with DaVinci XI/DV5 robots, contribute to teaching residents and medical students, and enjoy a competitive compensation package plus relocation assistance.

Practice Details

Sanford Health has an opening for a Fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeon Hospitalist to join its Surgery Department in Fargo, North Dakota. Experienced candidates preferred but newgraduates are welcome to apply. The additional surgeon is needed due to our continued practice growth both locally and regionally.

• Join a group of 3 colorectal surgeons and 16 other surgeons experienced in breast surgery, bariatric surgery, oncology surgery, general surgery, trauma and acute care surgery

• Full time hospital coverage and urgent/emergent OR cases

• Flexible scheduling, 182 shifts/year.

• DaVinci XI and DV5 robot available

• Level 1 trauma center

• Teaching of surgical residents and medical students through the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences

Compensation Package

Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits package including a health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance.

Competitive compensation package includes:

• Compensation floor of $532,080 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs.
