Job summary

CompHealth is assisting in finding a cardiothoracic surgeon for a hospital-employed, full-time practice in Wisconsin. The team performs a broad mix of cardiac and thoracic surgery with on-site Da Vinci robotics to support minimally invasive procedures.

You will join two established surgeons, with a 1:4 call schedule and a strong referral base, plus robust support from 5 APPs and 2 RNs. Visa sponsorship is not available, and compensation is negotiated through CompHealth recruiters.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Willing to work in a hospital-employed, full-time practice.
• Experience with robotic-assisted thoracic/cardiac procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join two established cardiothoracic surgeons in a hospital-employed practice.
• 70% cardiac cases and 30% thoracic cases in a full-time broad-spectrum role.
• Da Vinci robot on-site supporting minimally invasive procedures.
• Robust cardiac scope including valve repair, aortic reconstruction, TAVR, and atrial fibrillation ablation.
• Thoracic procedures include robotic lung cancer surgery, esophageal procedures, stroke prevention.
• Support from 5 APPs and 2 RNs with a 1:4 call schedule.
• Strong referral base with advanced structural heart program.
