Summary

Orlando VA Healthcare System's Specialty Service seeks an experienced Cardiologist committed to quality care and academic growth. Candidates should be excellent communicators, adaptable, and team-oriented.

Duties

• Maintain professional competencies to deliver high-quality care.
• Work in multidisciplinary teams with privileges at outpatient or hospital settings.
• Manage all aspects of a general Cardiology program, including clinical, administrative, academic, and research duties.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage cardiac diseases using standard methods.

Work Schedule

8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Schedules may vary based on facility needs.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens only if recruitment of citizens is unsuccessful.
• Successful urinalysis screening for illegal drugs.
• Selective Service registration (for males born after 12/31/1959).
• Proficiency in English.
• Background/security clearance and online onboarding.
• Pre-employment physical and influenza vaccination required.

Qualifications

Must meet basic and additional requirements, including:

• MD or equivalent degree from an accredited school.
• Full, unrestricted medical license.
• Completion of approved residency training in Cardiology.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Experience

• Five or more years in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
• Board certification.
