Qualifications

• Board certification in Cardiology is required.
• Active Michigan medical license and DEA.
• Inpatient cardiology coverage with 24-hour call; no clinic duties.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology coverage with a 24-hour call schedule (6am-6am).
• Interpret echocardiography and stress test results.
• Collaborate with in-house APPs for patient care.
• Utilize Cerner for charting.

The Role:

• Location: Petoskey, MI 49770
• Shift Type: 24-hour call, 6am-6am Sunday-Saturday. Inpatient coverage and call; no clinic duties.
• Required Skills:: Echocardiography; Treadmill stress tests; Chemical stress tests; interpretation of diagnostic studies.
• Support Staff: Supported by three (3) inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Site Charting System: Cerner.
• Requirements: Board Certified in Cardiology; active Michigan license & DEA
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
