Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Cardiologist for a 26-week locum tenens assignment in Massena, New York. The schedule runs 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with extension potential depending on needs.

The role requires Board Certification in Cardiology, NY State medical license, and familiarity with Epic charting. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, stress labs, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Maintain Board Certification in Cardiology.
• Maintain New York State medical license.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system for documentation.
• Provide inpatient consults and stress lab duties as part of duties.

Responsabilités

• Provide outpatient clinic services approximately 3 days per week.
• Supervise Stress Tests approximately 1 day per week.
• Perform inpatient consults and stress lab duties.
• Provide on-call coverage from 4pm to 8am as needed to fill gaps.
• Read nuclear portions of stress tests to support other providers (preferred).
• Participate in hospital consult service rotation on an ad hoc basis.
• Float between outpatient clinic and hospital consult locations as needed.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Pay Rate: $241 - $259/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Massena, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:

• Provide outpatient clinic services approximately 3 days per week
• Supervise Stress Tests approximately 1 day per week
• Perform inpatient consults and stress lab duties
• Provide on-call coverage from 4pm to 8am as needed to fill in gaps
• Read the nuclear portion of stress tests as needed to support other providers (preferred but not required)
• Participate in hospital consult service rotation on an ad hoc basis
• Maintain Board Certification in Cardiology
• Maintain Board Certification to read Cardiac Imaging studies, including Nuclear Stress tests (preferred)
• Maintain valid New York State license
• Utilize Epic charting system for all documentation
• Float between outpatient clinic and hospital consult service locations as needed
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm schedule
• Maintain no active malpractice claims
