Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Cardiologist for a 13-week locum-tenens assignment in Lewisburg, PA. You will work scheduled clinic shifts and on-call rotations, providing comprehensive cardiology coverage including procedures, nuclear reads, and echocardiograms.

Epic EMR will be used for documentation and credentialing requirements must be met promptly. The role requires maintaining board certifications (cardiology, nuclear/echo), an active PA license or IMLC, and DEA registration,

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Cardiology (BC/BE) is required.
• Nuclear and Echo board certifications are required.
• Active PA license or IMLC and active DEA registration must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Work clinic shifts and on-call rotations as scheduled.
• See 17–18 adult patients per day in clinic and hospital settings.
• Provide General Cardiology coverage including clinic and procedures.
• Perform and interpret nuclear reads and stress tests.
• Perform echocardiograms (TEEs) and monitor results.
• Collaborate with APP support staff and Interventional team; use Epic EMR for documentation.

Job Title: Cardiologist
Location: Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $308 - $332/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:

• Work specific scheduled dates including clinic shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), night call shifts (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM), and 24-hour call shifts as assigned
• Manage 1–2 nights of call per week with 1:4/5 weekend call rotation
• See 17–18 adult patients per day in a clinic and hospital setting
• Provide General Cardiology coverage including clinic and procedures
• Perform and interpret nuclear reads and stress tests
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms (TEEs) and echo monitors
• Perform cardioversions
• Perform CT reads (preferred)
• Round on weekends as needed
• Collaborate with APP support staff and Interventional team as needed
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation
• Maintain Board Certification (BC or BE) in Cardiology
• Maintain nuclear board certification and echo board certification (required)
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Adhere to credentialing and privileging requirements including full compliance due 2 weeks prior to start
• Submit required credentialing documents within 5 days of signing, including Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results
• Complete Child Abuse Search and schedule Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection
• Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience
