The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our nationally recognized cardiovascular team. You will provide anesthesia care for a broad range of adult cardiac procedures in a high-acuity academic setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO; board-eligible or certified in Anesthesiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship.
• ABA-certified or board eligible; eligible for Kansas and Missouri licensure.
• Certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for adult cardiac surgical procedures and advanced cardiovascular interventions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and CRNAs in a high-acuity environment.
• Contribute to education, mentorship, research, and academic missions within the department.
• Share cardiac call schedule to support collaboration and physician well-being.
