Job summary

Valleywise Health Care System in Phoenix invites applications for a full-time, fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon (Oncology) to join the Department of Surgery. The role provides inpatient and outpatient breast surgical services at Valleywise Health Medical Center, a public hospital and ACS Level 1 Trauma Center.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO with fellowship in Breast Surgery, completed General Surgery training, and is Board Certified/Board Eligible in Surgery.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Completed training in all phases of General Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgery.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient breast specialty surgical services.
• Collaborate with the Department of Surgery to deliver comprehensive breast care.
• Support Valleywise Health Medical Center as ACS Level 1 Trauma Center partner.

Breast Surgeon Opportunity - Valleywise Health Care System. District Medical Group (DMG) is a respected leader in the Phoenix area, known for leadership, innovation, and dedication to patients and communities. DMG is one of the largest physician groups in the Valley, with over 450 physicians/APPs and about 100 skilled professional/administrative team members.

DMG is actively recruiting for a full-time Fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon (Oncology) to join the Department of Surgery. This position offers the delivery of inpatient and outpatient breast specialty surgical services at Valleywise Health Medical Center, a public hospital and an ACS-designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• Completed training in all phases of General Surgery
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Surgery with fellowship in Breast Surgery
