Job summary

CalleoHealth is seeking an Associate Medical Director in Harlem to lead clinical operations, supervise providers, and ensure high-quality patient care. You will allocate administrative and clinical time, support research and training programs, and maintain an active clinical schedule.

The role requires NY medical licensure, board eligibility/certification, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completion of accredited medical school and residency.
• NY State medical license; board eligible/board certified.
• Current BCLS and DEA.
• Strong clinical, supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems; prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all providers assigned to the practice.
• Conduct bi-annual provider evaluations and annual competency assessments.
• Lead monthly provider meetings and participate in site management meetings.
• Monitor provider productivity, quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and open encounter completion.
• Oversee clinical performance of trainees and research programs as applicable.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, and administrative leadership on staffing, performance issues, and quality/safety initiatives.
• Communicate site needs to regional medical directors and attend required regional and CDG meetings.

ASSOCIATE MEDICAL DIRECTOR Harlem

Pay: $205,000 - $225,000

Sign-on bonus of $10,000!
Summary: Leads the clinical operations of the assigned practice, including provider supervision, quality oversight, regulatory compliance, and support of research and training programs. Maintains an active clinical practice with administrative and clinical time allocated based on site needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in quality initiatives, apply evidence-based medicine, and support continuous quality improvement efforts.

Teaching & Training

• Precept residents, medical students, and trainees; participate in residency faculty activities as needed.
