This position involves overseeing clinical and administrative functions within the ACOS/E Service line, ensuring quality and cost-effective care. The incumbent will serve as the Designated Education Officer, splitting duties equally between ACOS responsibilities and clinical work.
The role emphasizes leadership in medical education, policy development, and quality improvement, with responsibilities including oversight of trainee programs, credentialing, peer review, and fostering high standards of Veteran-centered care.
