Physician Associate Chief of Staff for Education

This position involves overseeing clinical and administrative functions within the ACOS/E Service line, ensuring quality and cost-effective care. The incumbent will serve as the Designated Education Officer, splitting duties equally between ACOS responsibilities and clinical work.

The role emphasizes leadership in medical education, policy development, and quality improvement, with responsibilities including oversight of trainee programs, credentialing, peer review, and fostering high standards of Veteran-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high standards of medical care and professional service integration.
• Manage resources including budget and personnel effectively.
• Mentor and develop healthcare professionals.
• Maintain compliance with VA regulations and professional standards.
• Collaborate with medical schools and training programs.
• Lead clinical teams to deliver quality Veteran care aligned with VHA values.

Work Schedule and Benefits:
