Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Care in San Antonio, TX is seeking a compassionate Physician Associate / Nurse Practitioner (AP) to join our oncology team. You will collaborate with premier oncology physicians to deliver high-quality cancer care in a supportive setting.

Join a multidisciplinary environment, participate in tumor boards, and provide patient-centered care with a focus on evidence-based practice and compassionate communication.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license issued by the Texas State Board.
• 1-3 years of advanced practice provider experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians on treatment plans and order medications/interventions as per protocols.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and contribute to evidence-based practice.
