Job summary

Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Urology practice. The PA will work closely with urologists to manage a broad range of conditions and deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, performing histories and exams, ordering tests, developing treatment plans, and documenting encounters.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Massachusetts PA license or eligibility.
• NCCPA certification required.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Experience in Urology preferred; surgical/specialty outpatient experience considered.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills; commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage outpatient urologic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
• Perform office-based urologic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Provide follow-up care, patient education, and counseling regarding treatment options and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Assist physicians with follow-up on test results, imaging, patient questions, and other clinical communications as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
• Optional hospital call shifts for additional compensation.

Physician Assistant – Urology (Full-Time)

Signature Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient Urology practice in Brockton, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

The Physician Assistant will work closely with our urologists to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
• Perform office-based urologic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Provide follow-up care, patient education, and counseling regarding treatment options and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care.

Optional Hospital Call Opportunity

• While hospital call is not a requirement of this position, PAs who are interested in additional clinical opportunities may have the option to pick up hospital call shifts for additional compensation.
• This optional opportunity may include weekend or other hospital call shifts, providing flexibility for providers who would like the opportunity to earn additional income while expanding their clinical experience.

Qualifications
