Job summary

Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to join our outpatient urology practice. You will work closely with urologists to provide comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions in a collaborative clinical environment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PA program, with MA license or eligibility, NCCPA certification, and DEA registration. Experience in urology or specialty outpatient settings is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current MA PA license (or eligibility) and NCCPA certification.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• Experience in Urology or specialty outpatient practice is strongly preferred.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage outpatients with acute and chronic urologic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Perform office-based urologic procedures within scope of practice.
• Provide follow-up care and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Document encounters in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with follow-up on test results and questions.

Physician Assistant – Urology (Full-Time)

Signature Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient Urology practice in Brockton, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

The Physician Assistant will work closely with our urologists to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
• Perform office-based urologic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Provide follow-up care, patient education, and counseling regarding treatment options and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Assist the physicians with following up on test results, imaging results, patient questions, and other clinical communications as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.

Optional Hospital Call Opportunity

• While hospital call is not a requirement of this position, PAs who are interested in additional clinical opportunities may have the option to pick up hospital call shifts for additional compensation.
• This optional opportunity may include weekend or other hospital call shifts, providing flexibility for providers who would like the opportunity to earn additional income while expanding their clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Urology is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in surgical or specialty outpatient practice will also be considered.
