Job summary

Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Urology practice. You will work closely with urologists to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions.

Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients, performing histories and exams, developing treatment plans, ordering tests, and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Massachusetts Physician Assistant license (or eligibility).
• NCCPA certification required.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• Previous experience in Urology or surgical outpatient practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
• Perform office-based urologic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Provide follow-up care, patient education, and counseling regarding treatment options and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Assist the physicians with following up on test results, imaging results, patient questions, and other clinical communications as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.

Signature Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient Urology practice in Brockton, Massachusetts. The Physician Assistant will work closely with our urologists to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions.

Optional Hospital Call Opportunity

• While hospital call is not a requirement of this position, PAs who are interested in additional clinical opportunities may have the option to pick up hospital call shifts for additional compensation.
• This optional opportunity may include weekend or other hospital call shifts, providing flexibility for providers who would like the opportunity to earn additional income while expanding their clinical experience.
