Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle seeks a board-certified Urology PA to join our outpatient General Urology team, including surgical first assist duties. You will provide comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary group to support the holistic well-being of patients and families.

Schedule is 1.0 FTE with no on-call obligations, flexible to patient care needs, and opportunities for teaching and mentorship as part of our culture

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Urology PA, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Seattle, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Urology cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate PA, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Urology patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Full time (1.0FTE) Outpatient General Urology clinic at the Downtown location as well as surgical first assist.

• Schedule: We partner with you to develop a schedule that accommodates your needs as much as possible, while also considering access and patient care needs. There is currently no call for this position.

• Experience: Advanced Practitioner experience and/or Urology experience or exposure is a plus, but not a requirement.

• Learning opportunities: The team has a teaching culture and is a conducive environment for providers newly out of school and/or new to the field of Urology. A training and mentorship program is in place to help guide new providers to Virginia Mason and support them for long term success.

Required

• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.

• Minimum one year of Urology experience preferred
