• Diagnostic point-of-care testing
• X-ray interpretation
• ECG evaluation
• Point-of-care lab interpretation (rapid tests)
• Epistaxis management (packing or cautery)
• Cerumen impaction removal
• Airway support and initial emergency stabilization (EMR in Epic)

Description:Job Type: Locum or Locum to PermCoverage Location: Multiple locations availableDates of Coverage: 3 days per week until a permanent provider is hired

Schedule: Clinics are open 7 days a week, 8 am to 8 pm

Shifts will be 12 hours or longer, depending on patient flowProviders are expected to see all patients who arrive during operating hoursNo call coverage is requiredPatient population ranges from birth to death and varies by locationPractice setting is outpatient onlyAverage number of patients per day can range from 25 to 50, higher during flu seasonRequired duties include:

• Laceration repair: Simple, intermediate, and complex suturing or stapling
• Incision and drainage, including packing
• Foreign body removal
• Minor burn management

• Diagnostic point-of-care testing
• X-ray interpretation
• Electrocardiogram evaluation
• Point-of-care lab interpretation: Rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV, urinalysis, and blood glucose testing
• Epistaxis management: Anterior nasal packing or chemical cautery for nosebleeds
• Cerumen impaction removal
