i-Health/Revo is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Edina, MN, working 0.6 FTE at our Edina location. The role focuses on providing healthcare in clinic and surgery, under physician direction.

The position requires graduation from an accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, MN license, and DEA registration, with orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Minnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/license and/or license.
• DEA registration.
• >1 year orthopedic experience; spine experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician in the clinic: room and prep patients; order x-rays; compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
• Assist surgeon in operating room: pre-surgery planning, position patient, check for proper instruments, assist in surgical procedure, close wound, remove patient.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting, casting, suturing and wound care.
• Apply, remove, modify and adjust casts and soft goods; change dressings; remove sutures.
• Implement patient management plans, record progress, and assist in provision of care.
• Consultations with (phone or in-person) patients for cast application/adjustment, dressing changes or brace application; etc.
• Rounding and call, as required by supervising Physician.
• Prescribe medications.
• Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the year.
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Description

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible to provide healthcare services to patients in both the clinic and in surgery, under direction and responsibility of physician(s).

This position is part time (0.6) working out of our Edina location.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

• Assist physician in the clinic (e.g., room and prep patients; order x-rays; compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination)

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
  • The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

Working Conditions:

• Frequentlylift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
