Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support clinics and surgery in Edina, MN. This part-time 0.6 FTE position requires PA credentialing, NCCPA, and Minnesota licensure, with duties spanning patient exams, cast and wound care, and perioperative support.

The role involves collaboration with physicians, prescribing medications, and occasional outreach; compensation aligns with a state-specific pay range, and benefits are included for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Minnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/license.
• DEA registration.
• >1 year orthopedic experience required; spine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in the clinic by rooming patients, compiling medical data, and preparing for exams.
• Assist surgeon in operating room with planning, positioning, instrumentation, and wound closure.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting, casting, suturing, and wound care.
• Prescribe medications.
• Rounding and call as required by supervising physician.
• Participate in community outreach events occasionally.
