Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics, part of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to run a non-operative spine clinic in our Waconia and Chaska clinics. This full-time position supports surgical and interventional teams and provides comprehensive patient care.

The role requires graduating from an accredited PA/NP program, NCCPA, Minnesota licensing, and DEA registration; orthopedic experience is preferred. Competitive benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Host independent non-operative spine clinic (room and prep patients; order x‑rays; compile patient medical data).
• Prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Order imaging studies and interpret results for care plans.
• Collaborate with spine and interventional teams on treatment plans and pre/post care.
• Document timely chart entries and follow-up communications.
• Coordinate with leadership on routine and complex issues.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting, casting, and wound care.
• Participate in community outreach events as needed.

Job description

The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner provides a wide variety of clinical duties with a focus on non-operative spine specialty.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday out of our Waconia and Chaska clinics.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential functions

• Host independent non-operative spine clinic (e.g., room and prep patients; order x-rays; compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination)
• Prescribe medications
• Order appropriate imaging studies, interpret and integrate results into patient care plan
• Exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion and decision making
• Collaborate with surgical spine and interventional pain teams to format treatment plans, pre/post procedure care and direct patients appropriately
• Complete timely chart entries on all patient transactions, write orders and complete patient follow up calls
• Communicate with Advance Practice Provider Leadership team regarding any issue of both a routine and of problematic nature
• Ability to perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting, casting, wound care
• Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the year.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
  • The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

Working Conditions

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

• Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
