Ashton North LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant – Surgical First Assistant in Geneva, NY. You will act as the First Assist in the operating room and support pre- and post-operative patient care, while also contributing to clinic responsibilities and patient management.

Collaborate with surgeons and a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced surgical environment, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits in a direct hire, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a New York State Physician Assistant license.
• National Certification through NCCPA is required.
• Valid DEA license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills are essential.
• Confidence working in both surgical and clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as First Assist in the operating room.
• Support pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care.
• Participate in clinic responsibilities and patient management.
• Assist with inpatient rounding as needed.

Your Role

You’ll work closely with the Chief of Surgery, as well as Vascular and Oncology Surgeons—serving as a First Assist in the OR while also supporting patients before and after surgery in the clinical setting.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in clinic responsibilities and patient management
• Assist with inpatient rounding as needed
