Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes) is seeking a Physician Assistant to serve as a Surgical First Assistant in a fast‑paced OR and clinical setting.

You’ll work closely with the Chief of Surgery and surgeons, acting as First Assist in the OR, supporting pre‑op evaluations, post‑op follow-ups, clinic duties, inpatient rounding, and coordination of care with referring and primary physicians.

Qualifications

• Licensed NYS Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification.
• Current DEA license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work as First Assist in the OR and in clinic.

Responsibilities

• Act as First Assist in the operating room.
• Support pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow‑up care.
• Participate in clinic responsibilities and patient management.
• Assist with inpatient rounding as needed.
• Coordinate communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Your Role
