Qualifications

• Prior clinical experience in primary care, specialty, or institutional healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains, evaluates, and records medical histories.
• Performs physical examinations and orders necessary testing.
• Analyzes data, formulates problems, and creates management plans.
• Initiates consults to specialists and other health professionals as needed.
• Counsels and educates patients on health-related matters.
• Prescribes medications as authorized by law and provides care for acute and chronic illnesses.
