Job summary

Northeastern Rural Health Clinics in Susanville, California seeks a Physician Assistant to join our primary care team. The PA will provide outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan, including preventive care, chronic disease management and treatment of common illnesses and injuries.

Providers typically see approximately 18 patients per day. Full-time or part-time options with flexible schedules (four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days); there are no weekend clinic hours or on-call

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Current California Physician Assistant license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Current DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to meet NRHC credentialing and privileging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan.
• Deliver preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Treat common illnesses and injuries; typical patient load ~18 per day.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Current NCCPA certification

Current California Physician Assistant license, or ability to obtain one

Current DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one

Providers typically see approximately 18 patients per day.Full-time providers may choose four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Part-time schedules may also be considered.
