Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history and physical exams.
• Order and review labs, EKGs, imaging, and other pre-procedural testing.
• Perform medication reconciliation and make appropriate medication adjustments.
• Identify clinical concerns and coordinate specialist consultations, medical optimization, and pre-procedural clearance.
• Provide patient education, prescriptions, and pre-procedure instructions while coordinating interpreter services, as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team while supporting quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
