Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certified by NCCPA (required).
  • Rhode Island PA license or eligibility.
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility.
  • Rhode Island CSR or eligibility.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, value-based primary care.
  • Strong clinical judgment for a broad range of primary care conditions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment.
  • Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan.
  • See approximately 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles.
  • Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
  • Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians in Rhode Island regulations, including consultation and referral as appropriate.
  • Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
  • Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records.
  • Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional).
  • Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available).
  • Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment.

The Opportunity

RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong clinical and operational support, allowing you to focus on patient care while leveraging modern care models and technology.   • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island (required).
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required).
  • Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required).
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care (required).
  • Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment.
  • Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred).

Salary range: $120,000 USD - $130,000 USD
