UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Physician Assistant to promote, provide, and maintain patient care under physician supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited PA program, NCCPA certification and PA-C licensure, and current Life Support certifications. Preferred earlier clinical experience is a plus, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Formación

• Master’s degree from ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification and PA-C license upon hire; Texas licensure to practice.
• Current American Heart Association Life Support certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts and documents comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the patient care plan using labs, imaging, and other studies.
• Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills as appropriate to specialty.
• Provides counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers on current care and preventive health.
• Facilitates quality initiatives and participates in research protocols to improve care and practice.
• Collaborates on research projects and applies evidence-based practices to patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
