Job summary

New Jersey Spine & Pain is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team. You will examine patients, collect medical history, read and interpret diagnostic tests, and discuss results with patients.

You will prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and help create comprehensive treatment plans with the healthcare team. The ideal candidate has excellent bedside manner, charting experience in a medical setting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests.
• Valid state licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart medically important information.
• Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions based on results.
• Explain test results and health outcomes to patients.
• Prescribe medication or therapy with physician supervision as part of a health plan.
• Collaborate with nurses, Physician Assistants, and Physicians to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
