UCHealth in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full-time surgical team within UCHealth Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. The role requires enthusiasm, dedication to excellent patient care, and readiness for 24/7 coverage with nights, holidays, and weekends. No on-call obligation is noted.

Epic EMR is used across the system. The ideal candidate will hold a PA studies master’s degree or a master’s in Nursing, with licensure in Colorado, PA-C or ANCC/AANPCB

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in PA studies or nursing required for hire.
• Unrestricted Colorado PA license or NP license required.
• PA-C or ANCC/AANPCB certification required for hire and maintained.
• DEA permit to prescribe commonly prescribed medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting.
• Participate in 24/7 coverage including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Maintain physician–level practice privileges and Medicare/Medicaid eligibility.
