BAS HealthCare is seeking a Full-time Nocturnist to join their Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team in Loveland, Colorado. This role involves providing trauma and surgical services overnight, managing patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have trauma surgery experience or a completed fellowship and a Master's degree in PA Studies. The position offers an annual salary from $136,822 to $179,379, plus a comprehensive benefits package including relocation assistance and CME support.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Unrestricted Colorado PA license required.

Responsibilities

• Full‑time Nocturnist position on the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team
• Provide full‑spectrum trauma and acute care surgical services during overnight shifts
• Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery, and inpatient care
• Perform evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Maintain all documentation and clinical workflows in Epic EMR
• Practice autonomously and handle multiple complex tasks appropriately
• Support quality, safety, and performance metrics of the Trauma Surgery service
• Engage in professional development and potential leadership opportunities

Qualifications

• Must have two years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Master’s degree in PA Studies
• NCCPA certification required
• Unrestricted Colorado PA license required
• Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
• BLS certification required

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary ranges from $136,822 to $179,379, based on experience
