Job summary

SSM Health Orthopedics – Bridgeton, Bridgeton, MO is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support Hand and Upper Extremity services at the SSM Health DePaul Hospital campus. The role focuses on orthopedic surgery APP duties, patient care in clinic and OR settings, and collaboration with a team of surgeons and APPs.

Ideal candidates have orthopedic surgery APP experience including surgical first assist; new grads with rotation experience may apply.

• Orthopedic Surgery APP practice experience including surgical first assist.
• New graduates are welcome to apply who have orthopedic surgery rotation experience, including performing surgical first assist.
• Master's degree physician assistant with PA-C
• Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Anticipated schedule of three clinic days per week and two days providing surgical first assist.
• Ability to read X-rays.
• Schedule is Monday-Friday business hours; No Call/No Evenings/No Weekends.
