+ **Schedule:** PRN - minimum 1 shift per 90 days -

+ **Call Schedule:** weekend call coverage

+ **Practice Detail:** Orthopedic coverage will include inpatient rounding, consults, ED procedures, and operating room assisting.

+ **Hourly rate:** $62 - $81 with nights, weekend, and holiday pay incentives

**Responsibilities**

Ascension Saint Agnes is looking for a PRN Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our elite team!

Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision

of a physician.

+ Obtain patient history and perform assessment.

+ Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.

+ Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.

+ Provide counseling and education of patient and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

+ Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

**Required Credential(s):**

+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office

+ Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office

**Preferred Credential(s):**

+ Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).Verified by local Credentialing Office

Education:

+ Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.

+ Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

+ 1 year of experience preferred.
