Nao Medical seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide full-scope medical care at our Jackson Heights clinic. You will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including hands-on procedures, with AI copilots to streamline charting.

You will collaborate with physicians, scribes, and staff to ensure efficient patient flow, while maintaining documentation and HIPAA compliance in a busy, modern practice.

Qualifications

• NYS PA license + NCCPA certification.
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• EMR experience and strong HIPAA knowledge.
• FMCSA certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• DEA preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Suboxone and CDL certification.
• New grads are welcome.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging, and perform procedures like suturing and joint injections.
• Support patient care journey with clear communication and telemedicine visits.
• Document encounters in the EMR and use AI copilots for clinical decisions.
• Mentor interns and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to improve quality.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Clinical care & procedures: Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret labs and imaging, and perform procedures like suturing, wound care, abscess drainage, joint injections, and splinting.
• Patient experience & flow: Support patients through their care journey with clear communication, run telemedicine visits, handle follow-ups (lab results, refills, messages), and partner with medical assistants, scribes, and front office staff to keep flow moving.
• Tech-enabled documentation: Document encounters in the EMR and use AI copilots for clinical decision support and streamlined workflow, keeping records timely and complete.
• Team collaboration & leadership: Work alongside supervising physicians and clinical staff, mentor interns and students, and join performance feedback and quality improvement.
• Flexibility & growth: Complete ongoing training, join monthly provider syncs and one-on-ones, and stay flexible with scheduling, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
