Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, procedures such as suturing and joint injections, telemedicine, and close collaboration with a supportive team. NYS PA license and NCCPA certification required.

Qualifications

• NYS PA license and NCCPA certification required.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• EMR experience and HIPAA knowledge.
• FMCSA certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• DEA preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Suboxone and CDL certification.
• New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret labs and imaging, and perform procedures like suturing, wound care, abscess drainage, joint injections, and splinting.
• Run telemedicine visits, handle follow-ups (lab results, refills, messages), and partner with medical assistants, scribes, and front office staff to keep flow moving.
• Document encounters in the EMR and use AI copilots for clinical decision support and streamlined workflow, keeping records timely and complete.
• Mentor interns and students, join performance feedback and quality improvement initiatives.
• Complete ongoing training, participate in provider syncs and one-on-ones, and stay flexible with scheduling including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Clinical care & procedures: Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret labs and imaging, and perform procedures like suturing, wound care, abscess drainage, joint injections, and splinting.
• Patient experience & flow: Support patients through their care journey with clear communication, run telemedicine visits, handle follow-ups (lab results, refills, messages), and partner with medical assistants, scribes, and front office staff to keep flow moving.
• Tech-enabled documentation: Document encounters in the EMR and use AI copilots for clinical decision support and streamlined workflow, keeping records timely and complete.
• Team collaboration & leadership: Work alongside supervising physicians and clinical staff, mentor interns and students, and join performance feedback and quality improvement.
• Flexibility & growth: Complete ongoing training, join monthly provider syncs and one-on-ones, and stay flexible with scheduling, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements
