Qualifications

This role is integral to supporting psychiatric evaluations and patient management during overnight hours within a fast-paced emergency psychiatric environment. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for skilled Physician Assistants to contribute to the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP). The PA will work closely with the overnight psychiatrist to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients experiencing acute psychiatric conditions. Flexibility in scheduling is available, including options for 3 or 4 overnight shifts per week, with shift timings coordinated with the CPEP Director. The role is vital in delivering prompt psychiatric care in a diverse, high-volume setting, ensuring effective treatment and appropriate disposition for patients.
