Nao Medical in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to practice full-scope medicine with hands-on procedures and AI copilots to reduce charting time. You will perform assessments, orders, and procedures like suturing and joint injections while delivering patient-centered care.

We offer a competitive base pay of $125,000 to $188,000 per year, a sign-on bonus, quarterly performance incentives, comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• NYS PA license and NCCPA certification.
• EMR experience and HIPAA knowledge.
• FMCSA certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• DEA preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, abscess drainage, joint injections, and splinting.
• Document encounters in the EMR and use AI copilots for clinical decision support and streamlined workflow.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and staff; mentor interns and students; participate in quality improvement.
• Support patient journey with clear communication and telemedicine visits; manage follow-ups and referrals.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Clinical care & procedures: Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret labs and imaging, and perform procedures like suturing, wound care, abscess drainage, joint injections, and splinting.
• Patient experience & flow: Support patients through their care journey with clear communication, run telemedicine visits, handle follow-ups (lab results, refills, messages), and partner with medical assistants, scribes, and front office staff to keep flow moving.
• Tech-enabled documentation: Document encounters in the EMR and use AI copilots for clinical decision support and streamlined workflow, keeping records timely and complete.
• Team collaboration & leadership: Work alongside supervising physicians and clinical staff, mentor interns and students, and join performance feedback and quality improvement.
• Flexibility & growth: Complete ongoing training, join monthly provider syncs and one-on-ones, and stay flexible with scheduling, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

NYS PA license + NCCPA certification
