Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a Physician Assistant for on-site medical services at the Columbia Basin Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Moses Lake, WA. This on-site role supports the Student Health Program and requires collaboration with mental health, dental, and wellness staff.

The PA will perform intake exams, diagnose and treat conditions, prescribe medications under the collaborative agreement, and maintain comprehensive SHRs while ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted WA Physician Assistant license.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Formal collaborative agreement with a licensed Physician, in accordance with state scope-of-practice requirements, maintained for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake physical examinations, medical assessments, and health histories.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state law and collaborative agreement.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized medical treatment plans.
• Provide first aid, emergency response, and stabilization as required.
• Collaborate with mental health, substance abuse, dental, and wellness staff to support integrated care.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the Student Health Record (SHR).
• Establish and manage medical referrals for specialty and emergency care.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, training, and Job Corps assessments.
• Provide health education and prevention counseling to students.
• Report significant medical issues, incidents, and trends to the Health and Wellness Director and Center Director as required.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Job Corps PRH, and all applicable federal and state regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct intake physical examinations, medical assessments, and health histories.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state law and collaborative agreement.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized medical treatment plans.

• Participate in Disability Accommodation Committee (DAC) meetings and applicant file reviews.
• Collaborate with mental health, substance abuse, dental, and wellness staff to support integrated care.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the Student Health Record (SHR).
• Establish and manage medical referrals for specialty and emergency care.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, training, and Job Corps assessments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in WA.

• Current DEA registration.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, community health, correctional health, or school-based health.
• Experience working with adolescents and young adults ages 16–24.
