Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in the ENT clinic and document histories.
  • Develop clinical assessments and coordinate referrals to ENT subspecialties.
  • Participate in outpatient ENT clinics, order and interpret tests as appropriate.
  • Review referrals, respond to patient messages, and manage prescriptions.
  • Participate in inpatient rounds, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising physician.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team for ENT care.

Opportunity Details
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in the ENT clinic, including detailed medical histories and focused physical examinations.
  • Develop clinical assessments, initiate appropriate diagnostic workups, and coordinate referrals to ENT subspecialties such as Facial Plastics, Head & Neck Oncology, Neuro-Otology, and related services.
  • Participate in outpatient ENT subspecialty clinicsevaluating patients, formulating treatment plans, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as appropriate.
  • Review and manage outpatient referrals, respond to patient calls and electronic messages, process prescription refills, and follow up on diagnostic test results during dedicated administrative time.
  • Participate in daily inpatient rounds with the ENT house-staff team, documenting patient progress, updating medical records, writing orders and progress notes, and communicating significant changes in patient condition to the supervising physician.
  • Collaborate closely with attending physicians, residents, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered otolaryngology care.
Qualifications
  • Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
  • Current certification issued by the NCCPA
  • DEA Certification

Wages and Benefits:

Annual Base Salary:$131,127* - $174,836*based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
    • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, CME.
