Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota seeks a licensed Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our United and East region clinics in St. Paul and Apple Valley. This 1.0 FTE position involves clinic and OR days, with 2-3 clinic days and 1-2 OR days weekly.

You will work in a PA/MD team providing patient care from diagnosis through treatment, with call rotation and weekends a few times per year. Requires master's degree, MN license, NCCPA, and BLS; orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current MN licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• NCCPA certification is required.
• BLS Tier 1 certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for orthopedic patients as part of a PA/MD team.
• Perform assessments, diagnose conditions, and order tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage therapy with physician oversight.
• Educate patients and coordinate referrals to specialty services.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient care and on-call rotation.
