Job Details

This position offers a salary range of $102,615.00 to $149,132.00 per year, based on skills and experience. UCHealth Medical Group and the Elk Lakes Urgent Care Clinic in Greeley, Colorado, are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner committed to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and perform assessments through observation, interviews, and examinations. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures.
  • Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, including prescribing authority or referrals.
  • Educate patients and families about preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
  • Conduct health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and preventative care.
  • Work within scope, demonstrating critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements

For all candidates:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pediatric and adult patients in Urgent Care or Emergency Room settings.

Family Nurse Practitioners: Must have full prescriptive authority.

Additional Qualifications for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Unrestricted Colorado Physician Assistant license.
  • PA-C certification from NCCPA.
  • Unrestricted DEA license for prescribing medications.
  • Ability to maintain Medicare and Medicaid provider status.
  • No sanctions or exclusions from federal or state health programs.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Qualifications for Nurse Practitioners
  • Master's in Nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Certification from ANCC or AANPCB.
  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado or multi-state compact.
  • Full prescriptive authority and DEA license.
  • Ability to maintain Medicare/Medicaid provider status.
  • No sanctions or exclusions from federal or state health programs.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
