The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
  1. Providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
  2. Obtaining comprehensive patient histories and performing physical exams for both new and returning patients.
  3. Performing pre-operative, post-operative, and urgent ENT evaluations in the clinic.
  4. Assisting with procedures both in the clinic setting and in the operating room.
  5. Participating in multidisciplinary clinics and communicating effectively with all team members.
  6. Ordering necessary diagnostic tests, consultations, procedures, and issuing prescriptions/medications.
  7. Actively participating in educational meetings and conferences within the Department of Otolaryngology.
  8. Participating in research opportunities.
  9. Working 40 hours per week, on four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, rotating between Boston, Lexington, Waltham, Needham, Weymouth, North Dartmouth, and Peabody as needed.
  10. To qualify, you must have:
  • A current Massachusetts PA or NP license. If a Nurse Practitioner, must also have a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification.
  • Previous OR experience is preferred.
  • Prior Otolaryngology/Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
  • New graduate PAs will be considered.
