Olympia Orthopaedic Associates in Olympia, WA is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to work with our Neurosurgery team focusing on spine surgery.

In this role you will examine patients, administer medications, order tests, diagnose illnesses, and counsel patients and families, with opportunities to work in clinic and assist in surgeries under a surgeon’s supervision.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' orthopaedic experience as PA/NP.
• 2–3 years' surgical assist experience; neuro/spine preferred.
• Active WA PA/NP license or ability to obtain before hire.

Responsibilities

Starting Pay Range: $100k - $175k per year. Bonus opportunities available based on production and quality of work.

Position Summary:

OOA is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to work directly with one of our well-established Neurosurgeons who specializes in surgery of the back, neck, and spine.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both in clinic and assist in surgeries. Under the supervision of a surgeon, you will be responsible for examining patients, administering drugs, ordering medical and diagnostic testing, diagnosing illnesses, and counselling patients and their families.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of WA, or the ability to obtain one prior to hire.
• 2-3 years' of Orthopaedic experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• 2-3 years' of surgical assist experience, with a preference for neuro or spine surgery.
