Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification required; FNP required.
• PA: NCCPA certification required.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management, as applicable.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.

Location: Marble Falls, TX
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM/Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + bonus eligibility
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
